Please find attached an invite for Navigating Home, a performance piece created by the Creative Expression Group directed by Jenny Macdonald as part of the Art and Integration Project at SPIRASI. This performance is an exciting piece of work within the context of 2008 being the Year of Intercultural Dialogue. We would really appreciate if you could forward this invite through your email lists and/or post it in your events publications.

The group have worked really hard over the past six months to produce a participant led piece of theatre that reflects their experience of migration, home and belonging.

We hope that you can come along and support this project.

If you would like to attend please book yourself a place for the day and time that suits by e-mailing me.
There are 5 possible show options: 2 shows on the Friday the 7th March at 8pm and 9pm
---- and 3 show options on Wednesday 12th of March at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm

A passport is required. Entry requirements for UK nationals: UK nationals require valid passport and a visa.Entry requirements for Canadians: Canadians nationals require a valid passport and visa.Entry requirements for Australians: Australians nationals require a valid passport and visa.Entry requirements for South Africans: South Africans nationals require a valid passport and visa.Entry requirements for New Zealanders: New Zealand nationals require a valid passport and visa. Entry requirements for Irish nationals: Irish nationals require a valid passport and visa. Passport/Visa Note: All travellers entering and exiting the country are required to have an Arabic transcript of their passport. Visitors travelling on a visa must register with immigration officials within seven days of arrival (unless on a re-entry visa). Hotel reception offices register their guests automatically. The Schools Cultural Mediation Project is a North West Inner City project that works with 10 schools in the Dublin 7 School Completion Cluster. The project aims to facilitate and support the integration of migrant parents in their children’s school life. The project has already established a translation and interpretation service for the schools and is now investigating the models of cultural mediation that are relevant to the Irish context.
This conference will present guest speakers from three projects that have been developing and implementing different models of cultural mediation in schools for the past 10 years.

اجتماع اللجنة التنفيذية للجمعية الليبية

اليوم والتاريخ: الأحد الموافق 27-01-2008

الأجندة:

1- تقييم حفلة عيد الأضحى.
2- الاجتماع العام للجمعية العمومية.
3- أي أمور أخرى.


القرارات:

أولا- تم مناقشة وتقييم الحفل الذي أقيم بمناسبة عيد الأضحى المبارك وقد تبين أن هنالك عجز مالي وقدره حوالي 425 يورو اتفقت اللجنة على عدة وسائل لتغطية هذا العجز منها تقديم طلب منحة من الجهات المختصة بتموين الجاليات , كذلك طلب تبرعات من أشخاص للمساعدة في هذا الشأن.
ثانيا- تم الاتفاق على الدعوة للاجتماع العام وذلك يوم السبت الموافق 08-03-08 عند الساعة الثالثة بعد الظهر على أن يتم تحديد المكن لاحقا وقد تم الاتفاق على الآتي:.
أ- أجندة الآجتماع العام:
1- عرض الحسابات.
2- تقرير بالنشاطات.
3- انتخاب اللجنة التنفيذية الجديدة.
ب- تم اختيار لجنة انتخابية على أن يتم الاتصال بهم لأخذ موافقتهم على إدارةالعملية الانتخابية وإلا فسيتم البحث عن البديل.

ثالثا:وقد أثيرت قضية بعض الأخوات المنفصلات عن أزواجهن والمقيمات في ايرلندا ومدى امكانية الاتصال بهن لعلهن بحاجة إلى مساعدات مادية أو معنوية ولقد رأت اللجنة أن هذه نقطة مهمة يجب الاسراع في تحصيل المعلومات الكافية للاتصل بهن في أقرب وقت على أن يتابع هذا الموضوع لاحقا.

رابعا: تم الاتفاق على زيارة الأخ محمد المصراتي لمواسته وللاطلاع على تطورات مرض زوجته شفاها الله وعافى جميع المسلمين.

To launch the Show Racism the Red Card Irish DVD Education Pack


The education pack harnesses the profile of top sports stars and the experience of young people to convey a powerful anti-racism message.

Attending on the day will be Kevin Kilbane and ex- Irish internationals John Anderson and David Kelly as well as many of those who feature in the DVD.

Young people from schools around Dublin will have the opportunity to participate in a Questions and Answers session with a panel of sporting legends past and present.
